We are the Aurich Pool & Fitness Center at MMC!

The Aurich Pool & Fitness Center at MMC provides cardio and strength training machines, in addition to free weights. A staff person is available (Monday-Friday,7:00am -3:00pm) to help you.




Pool

The therapeutic, salt-system, heated pool (approx. 89 degrees) is ideal for those who have joint issues. Aquatic Aerobics classes are available for clients of all abilities. All classes are instructed at the same level, but clients are encouraged to exercise at their own level. An aqua arthritis class is also available for a lower impact program. Recreational volleyball is played on Friday afternoons from 2-4pm. Lap swimming is also an option for members. Just reserve a lane with the lifeguard on-duty.  Pool is open Monday - Wednesday - Friday 6:00am to 5:00pm; Tuesday - Thursday 6:00am to 6:00pm: Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm.  Pool is closed for cleaning Tuesday 12:45pm to 1:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 8:30am for cleaning.

Tai Chi with Ran

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese experience to balance the mind and body by allowing Chi or Energy to flow through the body smoothly using deep relaxed breathing, gentle stretches and movements, and a clear focused mind.

The class is led by Ran Griem, RN, Shiatsu Practitioner.Class size is limited to 15 participants. Class is open to MMC members only.  Cost for eight classes is $40 Members and $20 for employees

Tai Chi with Donna

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese ancient practice that incorporates your Qi (energy) into graceful forms of exercise.

The 8-week class is led by Donna DeSimone, Black Sash certified instructor..Cllass minimums is of 10 and a max of 30 p[articipants. Classes are open to MMC members only.  Cost for eight classes is $40 for members and $20 for staff.

Tuesday and Friday sessions with Betsy. Cost is $60 for 12 class punch card. Class times are as follows:
  •  9:30AM TO 10:30AM
Thursdays with Betsy. Cost is $60 for 12 class punch card.  Class times are as follows:  
  • 11:15AM to 12:15PM

Tuesdays and Thursdays with Ray.  Cost is $60 for 12 class punch card.  Class times are as follows:

Body Sculpting with Donna

Tuesdays, 4:00pm to 5:00pm, Palmer Room
 
The class is designed to help participants get lean, build strength and tone muscles with motivating music.  Recomend bringing 5lb dumbbells (lighter weights provided), a mat, towel and water.  Minimum of 10 participants required.  The cost for 8 class sessions is MMC Members $40 and staff $20.  Check with Member Services for next start date.

Yoga with Donna

Yoga with Donna (Palmer Room) - Tuesdays, 1:00pm to 2:00pm.  Feel free to sit, stand or use a mat.  The class is modified to make your yoga journey safe and enlightened!  Class is led by Donna DeSimone, 500 RYT certified.  Minimum of 10 participants required.  Cost for 8 class sessions is $40 Members and $20 for Staff. Check with Member Services for next start date.

Hatha Yoga with Donna

Hatha Yoga with Donna - (Palmer Room), Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 5:00pm.   Come join Donna in this journey of Hatha Yoga that engages at a slower pace with controlled movements and stretching.  The ASANA practice helps balance the body, improves strength and flexiobility, and centers the mind to observe attunement with your body and breath. The class is led by Donna DeSimone, Yoga Certified 500 RYT.  Bring a mat, towel and water.  Minimum of ten participants.  The cost is $40 for Members and $20 for Staff.  Check with Member Services for next start date.
