MMC Trips and Tours Program

The Modern Maturity Center offers both day trips and extended tours and great discounted prices for members. Our trip program is open to the public as well.

To sign up for any of our trips, visit the Modern Maturity Center's Trips and Tours desk between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bus seating is based on order of sign-up.

Refunds will not be given for day trip cancellation unless seat/ticket can be resold. Day trips may be cancelled if a minimum of 25 participants has not been reached by the time deposits are due.

Travel protection is available for all extended tours and is strongly recommended. Those who choose not to purchase Travel Protection will be asked to sign a waiver. Refunds are not given for extended tours that are cancelled for any reason if Travel Insurance is not purchased.

Jerry Herman's "Hello, Dolly" greets the spring. Based on Thornton Wilder's "The Merchant of Yonkers", it won Best Book of a musical, Best Score and seven other Tony awards in 1964. It's all about sassy, brassy Dolly Levi, who travels to Yonkers searching for Horace Vandergelder. She stirs up the lives of his niece and his two store clerks, as she manipulates the proceedings. Winner of 4 Outer Circle Awards, including Best Off Broadway Musical, NUNSENSE tells the story of Five Little Sisters of Hoboken who discover their cool, Sister Julia, Child of GOd, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the Sisters with her vichyssoise. With four deceased still to be buried, and no money left, the Sisters are in dire need of funds and decide to put on a variety show to raise the needed money.
